We are seeking a Technical Operative to join our team, supporting both operational and administrative functions with a focus on stock management and replenishment. This role is ideal for candidates with a general operative background and experience in inventory control, data entry, and computer systems. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Maintenance: Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, as well as manual repairs when required. Equipment Installation: Install, relocate, and configure equipment as needed. Stock Management: o Receive, check, count, and organize incoming goods. o Conduct stock checks and cycle counts, ensuring accuracy. o Maintain proper stock levels in designated cabinets by managing replenishment and ensuring items are correctly restocked. o Use Excel and internal computerized systems to manage inventory and order parts. Order Fulfilment: Pick and pack customer orders within agreed timeframes and deliver items to designated points of use. System Operations: Operate various computerized systems and software applications for inventory and project management. Project Support: Manage and complete assigned project tasks within specified deadlines. Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience: Background in general operative roles, with familiarity in stock replenishment processes and data entry. Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with various internal software applications. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and inventory control. Desk-Based Tasks: Comfortable in a predominantly desk-based role, with occasional physical tasks such as organizing stock. Organization Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively within tight deadlines.
