Join Our Team as a Chef de Partie! We are looking for a reliable person to join our kitchen team as a Chef de Partie.

Chef de Partie Responsibilities:
1. To arrive to work in time and in full uniform.
2. To adhere to all HACCP regulations regarding uniform, personal hygiene, food preparation, production, service and storage.
3. To carry out daily and weekly procedures, including temperature checks, food labelling/dating and storage.
4. To work with the head chef in menu planning and participate in the development of daily specials and new menu items.
5. To support the Head Chef with the implementation of stock controls and the importance of good stock management.
6. To ensure that dishes are prepared to the correct recipe and to the highest standard.
7. To ensure that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions and proper rotation is adhered while in refrigeration.
8. To minimize food waste and ensure that any food waste is disposed of correctly.
9. To ensure that any anticipated shortages are communicated promptly to the Head Chef.
10. To ensure all dishes are served with correct garnish and portion size.
11. To ensure that your section is kept clean and tidy at all times with a full clean down of the section after service at the end of a shift.
12. To observe all Health and Safety rules and ensure the safety of yourself, guests, and work colleagues.
13. Liaise with Head Chef and Sous Chef for daily briefings and support the running of the kitchen on senior chef's days off.
14. Organise your station for a busy service and deliver a consistent quality product at speed.
15. To attend meetings and training as requested.
16. To carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel.
2. HACCP trained and hygiene-focused.
3. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
4. Team player, flexible with shifts, and reliable.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
