Contract Details: 3-year Fixed Term Contract, 37 hours per week

Job Summary:
Team Leaders report into the Service Manager and are responsible for the day-to-day operations and key working case management of the Youth Services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client: Supervise staff to ensure high quality, trauma-informed care for clients that support them to achieve their goals.
* Compliance: Stay compliant with all organisation policies, stay up to date on mandatory training, and maintain service administration and reporting as required.
* Service Delivery: Ability to lead the service team, manage the effective and efficient operation of the service, foster positive relationships with external agencies, and contribute to the development of the service.
* Values: Demonstrate the Galway Simon Community values of compassion, community, and collaboration. Provide leadership and motivation, promoting a culture of professionalism, accountability, and ongoing learning.
* General: Willingness to adapt as needed to support client and service needs and participate in the On-Call system.

Requirements:
* Qualification: Degree in social care or similar, commit to register with CORU as a Social Care Worker.
* Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar role in a social care setting.
* Driving: Valid, full driver’s licence; access to own vehicle and ability to obtain insurance for business use (cost covered by organisation).
Desirable:
* Experience: Working with people who experience homelessness, poor mental health, addictions, or similar.
* Experience: Of the housing/homeless sector, social welfare systems as it relates to housing support and management experience.
