Job Description
The Technical Writer will support the Regulatory Remediation program by improving reporting associated with the program.
Key Responsibilities
* Uplift existing reporting, including Regulatory Closure packages, Monthly Steer Co material, Quarterly Metrics, Outcomes Dashboard, and Monthly Spotlights.
* Contribute to Program as a Project Manager, supporting and guiding program activities, and advancing the development and execution of program objectives.
* Translate complex technical concepts into language easily understood by stakeholders.
Techincal Writing:
The Technical Writer will work across Regulatory Governance leads and Execution workstream leads to improve reporting and communicate strategy and effective storytelling associated with the program.
* Translate technical details into executive/regulatory reporting needs.
* Develop content explaining new technologies/processes and help implement solutions that improve information delivery to stakeholders.
* Maintain documentation hub (new releases, reviews, periodic refresh).
Project Management:
The Technical Writer will lead end-to-end planning and management of small to medium cross-technology team initiatives.
* Plan, organize, and control activities of cross-functional project teams.
* Develop and maintain end-to-end project plan, maintains project level RAID log, manages resource forecasts and cost plans.
* Provide updates on OKRs, project execution metrics, and outcomes, including project ROI.
* Coordinate communication across multiple project stakeholders, translating from granular technical level to executive consumable level.
Requirements:
* 5-8 years of experience working in IT within the Financial Services industry.
* Technical acumen, ability to understand and articulate technical topics.
* Ability to take technical content and processes, develop it into consumable documentation and communications.
* Strong Power Point and Presentation skill set.
* Strong Project Management skill set.
* Proficiency with latest tools: Sharepoint, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.
