Bid Manager/Senior Bid Writer
Due to continued growth and expansion, eir evo are currently seeking applicants for a Bid Manager / Senior Bid Writer position within our existing Bid team.
This is a permanent position, based in either our Dublin, Belfast or Waterford offices with hybrid working options available.
The successful candidate will join our dynamic Bid team, and be primarily responsible for managing and responding to technology tenders, with a particular focus on tenders that relate to the provision of ICT resources and teams. This will include managing incoming tender opportunities, analysing the main tender requirements, qualifying in and out of tender opportunities, liaising with internal eir evo SME’s and recruiters to prepare tender documentation and submitting tender responses in accordance with set deadlines.
Responsibilities
* Analysing resource requirements and frameworks documents (e.g. tender SRFT’s and PQQ’s) and identifying key role and other required elements of the response.
* Based on the tender requirements, playing a key role in the organisation in making a decision to qualify in or out of a tender opportunity.
* Liaising with internal recruiters, technical SME’s and other business stakeholders to gather the required information to prepare high quality tender responses.
* Putting together the required documentation for tender responses, ensuring that the response is correct and of the highest standard.
* Working to tight deadlines and managing allocated time and resources effectively.
* Managing submissions and collateral quality control within the process.
* Actively working to strategically grow opportunities in the division, with a proactive approach to the role.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3-5 years’ previous experience in a similar role/working in a bid environment.
* Some technology background/understanding of IT roles is required.
* Should have experience of using eTenders and be familiar with public sector frameworks.
* Experience working to tight deadlines.
* Proactive approach to developing response content and to introducing innovation.
* Experience of the IT role recruitment cycle and market is desirable, either from a recruiter or hiring manager perspective.

* Advanced understanding of the English language with very strong English writing skills.
* Good communication, attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment and contribute in a proactive manner.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact well with others.
