About the Role: We are looking for a skilled L1/L2 Tech Support Specialist to provide onsite IT support for a key client in Limerick. This role is not just about technical expertisestrong communication, problem-solving, and a customer-focused approach are essential. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues, ensuring a seamless IT experience for end users. Key Responsibilities: Provide first and second-level support for IT issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Manage ticketing systems, diagnose issues, and escalate complex problems when necessary. Support end users with Windows, Office 365, printers, and mobile devices. Assist with basic network troubleshooting (VPN, Wi-Fi, connectivity issues, etc.). Ensure excellent customer service by communicating technical solutions in a clear and professional manner. Work closely with IT teams to identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions. Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions. Key Skills & Experience: Must hold a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 2-4 years experience in an L1/L2 support role. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking. Experience with ticketing systems and troubleshooting hardware/software issues. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills ability to explain technical issues in a non-technical way. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced client environment. Nice to Have: Experience with ITIL frameworks. Exposure to MacOS or Linux is a plus. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are beneficial.
