Reports to: Practice Manager / Clinical DirectorPosition Overview:Our Client is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join their dental practice. The ideal candidate will be a registered dentist in Ireland with a passion for providing high-quality dental care. You will work within a supportive and professional team to deliver comprehensive care to patients, ensuring they have the best possible dental experience.Key Responsibilities:Provide a full range of general dental services, including but not limited to, routine check-ups, restorative treatments, preventive care, and extractions.Diagnose and treat dental conditions, diseases, and injuries.Perform oral health assessments and treatment planning.Administer local anaesthesia and other pain control measures as necessary.Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.Maintain accurate patient records in line with practice policies and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with dental hygienists, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.Stay updated with the latest dental techniques, technologies, and industry best practices.Ensure all treatments and procedures comply with relevant health and safety regulations and professional guidelines.Build rapport with patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their care.Handle patient complaints and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.Qualifications & Experience:Must be a registered dentist with the Dental Council of Ireland.Hold a degree in Dentistry (Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent).Proven experience as a General Dentist with strong clinical skills.Knowledge of dental procedures, oral health care practices, and relevant medical conditions.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures and treatments to patients.Ability to work well in a team and independently, depending on the situation.A commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up-to-date with current dental practices.Personal Attributes:Empathetic, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality care.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain patient records accurately.Ability to handle challenging or anxious patients with sensitivity and professionalism.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to dental issues.Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.Company Info:Midlandjobs.ieMullingar, Co.
