Finance Business Partner – Dublin 2 – On site full time – up to €70,000 plus LTIP
A private equity firm has recently invested in an established niche business which is about to take off! They are looking for a dynamic, commercial qualified accountant to join the business and work very closely with the COO and CEO to ensure challenging milestones are reached over the next two years. If you are looking to join a rapidly growing business that may exit in the next couple of years, then this could be for you. But a word to the wise, it is onsite, demanding and will be one hell of a ride! Are you up for it?
Responsibilities
* The finance is currently outsourced; the first role will be to bring it in-house and take over responsibility for month-end, VAT/Tax returns, payroll, etc.
* Due to the rapid growth expected, forecasting will be essential, working with the senior leadership team, addressing variances, providing commercial insights, allowing for informed decision-making.
* Analysis by product and customer will need to be done. Identifying opportunities, new markets, pricing new products, building business cases, covering all areas that will help the business grow.
* This is a small team; you will not be responsible for debtors, but you will need to roll up your sleeves and get involved in all areas of the business.
Requirements
* Qualified accountant, about 3 years post-qualified with some industry experience.
* Commercial acumen is a must; ability to see an opportunity.
* Solution-oriented person is essential, self-starter.
* Excellent communication – both written & verbal is essential.
* Comfortable in an unstructured environment; this is a new role to make your own.
* Please note, this role is based on-site in Dublin 2, five days per week.
Remuneration
€70,000 - €75,000 base plus exit bonus potential, income protection.
