Job Summary
The Graduate Engineer will support the design and manufacturing engineering team in various projects and tasks, providing recent graduates with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment to develop their skills and knowledge in engineering and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects, providing support in the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes.
* Collect and analyze data to identify trends, solve problems, and improve manufacturing processes, preparing reports and presentations based on findings.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations.
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including process maps, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to support manufacturing goals and objectives.
* Participate in training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge in manufacturing engineering.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
* Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.
* Required Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
