The Finance competency at EY is a multifaceted team that focuses on providing expert guidance and support to clients in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, managing and analysing finance and risk data, and implementing finance transformation initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a person with Finance and regulatory reporting experience, track record in transformation projects and team leadership experience, client relationship management excellence, communication, and business acumen as well as passion for innovation, building high performing teams and culture of trust, respect, and diversity.
Client Responsibilities:
* Manage or support engagements with our clients and provide high quality consulting services to a portfolio of clients.
* Develop and maintain long term client relationships and networks.
* Understand EY’s service offerings and actively support in identifying opportunities to better serve clients.
* Assist on business development opportunities and support client proposal development efforts.
* Manage innovation in processes and systems, leveraging technology to enhance client performance.
Practice and People Development Responsibilities:
* Manage and Lead diverse teams with varying skillsets.
* Adapt your leadership style to fit team, client, and their cultural needs.
* Foster a supportive, inclusive and growth team-oriented work culture.
To qualify for the role, you must have
* Excellent client relationship management skills, gained through prior consulting roles or within large financial services / technology organisations.
* Expertise in key Finance Regulatory reporting or Regulatory change programmes.
* Understanding of finance processes, finance technologies and operating models.
* Proven track record in management and leadership roles in Regulatory or Finance transformation projects.
* Strong communications skills, with experience of managing strategy material and presenting to key stakeholders.
* An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) applied in a financial institution would be beneficial.
* Minimum of 7+ years’ in delivering regulatory reporting or finance transformation programmes.
* Understanding of technology trends and implications on the Financial Services industry.
* Excellent Stakeholder management skills with a track record in managing complex stakeholder programmes.
* Demonstrated ability to manage, supervise and develop others.
