Due to continuous expansion, Tritech Group is seeking a permanent Electrical Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site from initiation to completion and will report directly to the Group Electrical Director.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinating with clients, contractors, estimators, quantity surveyors, sub-contractors, engineers, and all relevant stakeholders to ensure that all tasks are completed according to plans and scheduling criteria.
2. Communicating with clients to keep them informed of project status and potential issues.
3. Planning and management of personnel on site and tracking and reporting on progress and production/output levels.
4. Carrying out necessary design reviews to ensure that installations are fit for purpose and completing the VE process in conjunction with the Engineering team.
5. Overseeing the contracting process with chosen sub-contractors and ensuring all works are carried out correctly and as per contract and specification.
6. Managing and reporting all project financial elements in conjunction with the commercial department, ensuring successful project closeout to budgeted profit levels.
7. Managing the bidding process for projects to ensure adherence to company standards.
8. Ensuring that all work complies with relevant codes and practices.
9. Attending all project-related and management meetings, hosting and recording internal project team reviews/meetings, and reviewing with the Ops Director.
10. Carrying out surveys of installations and reporting accordingly.
11. Ensuring that inspection, testing, commissioning, and witnessing plans are designed and implemented in line with project-specific requirements.
12. Preparing detailed project plans and schedules to follow.
13. Evaluating overall project performance on a regular basis to provide confidence that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards.
14. Procurement of subcontract, plant, and materials in conjunction with the procurement department, taking full responsibility for achieving commercial buying targets.
15. Ensuring subcontract/plant scopes are prepared to eliminate grey areas and offset risks.
16. Liaising with clients and the management team on an ongoing basis to ensure scope of works is delivered and shareholder requirements are met.
17. Issuing management and clients with project progress reports regularly and attending management project review meetings.
18. Implementing Tritech Group Health and Safety Procedures and reporting to the Company's Head of Health and Safety as required.
19. Familiarity with Modern Methods of Construction, Lean construction, and sustainable/environmentally friendly installation solutions.
Background, Experience & Skills:
1. Relevant third-level qualification in Building Services Engineering or similar qualification.
2. Minimum 5+ years' experience in a contracting environment is essential.
3. Proven ability to manage and deliver large projects.
4. Good leadership skills to motivate and direct a team.
5. Excellent IT and technical skills.
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
