Uniphar are embarking on an ambitious, multi-year technology transformation program and are seeking an experienced Data Project Manager to join our team to lead the delivery of several data project initiatives.
Operating within the PMO, the position is a pivotal role which has high visibility and influence within the wider technology program. The Data Project Manager will be expected to project manage the delivery of multiple data related projects to support the wider technology transformation of the business. The ideal candidate is expected to engage both business and technical resources at a level of detail to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities / Outcomes
1. As a member of the Project Management Office, lead the delivery of multiple data related projects, delivered using Waterfall or Agile methodologies depending on the need.
2. Identify priority of activity by engaging relevant stakeholders across business, technology, and PMO, build a pipeline of activities, deliver and report on its success.
3. Work with the business to establish the strategic data roadmap for the organisation.
4. Support other projects in the portfolio as required, particularly where other projects have dependencies on your projects.
5. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, forecasts, manage project deliverables and scope, resolve cross-functional issues and change control.
6. Understand and deliver on the customers' needs, collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are documented and agreed.
7. Work with in-house engineering teams and 3rd party vendors to deliver technical solutions, including RFPs, solution architecture, build, test and implementation.
8. Co-ordinate the resource team in line with the plan.
9. Develop quality assurance plans to ensure what was requested has been delivered successfully.
10. Manage any migration from a business readiness perspective, ensure solutions are migrated accordingly, users are trained as appropriate, operational support plans are in place and the business is ready to launch.
11. Effectively control risks and issues, manage dependencies within your workstream and as part of the wider transformation program as required, escalation of issues to senior stakeholders as appropriate.
12. Monitor project progress and performance, budget tracking, governance and reporting at a project level.
13. Contribute at a program level in areas such as cross workstream dependency management, governance, quality assurance, delivery frameworks and communities of practice.
14. Take on additional projects as required where capacity allows.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Technology, data or a related field.
2. 5+ years as a Project Manager delivering complex data implementations in large scale enterprises using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
3. Extensive experience of master data management tools, data models, databases, SQL, ERP, SAP an advantage as is experience working with supply chain data sets.
4. Extensive vendor and system integrator management experience.
5. Process oriented, understands methodologies and best ways of working, knows how to implement them, and break them where required.
6. Attention to detail, must be able to operate at the relevant business and technical levels of detail required to ensure successful delivery.
7. Strong business acumen, the Project Manager will be immersed in the business team for periods and must have broad understanding of business data patterns.
8. Analytical thinking – ability to understand a situation by segmenting and tracing implications step by step.
9. PMP or Prince2 certification a must. Certified scrummaster helpful.
