Senior SOA Test Engineer
We are launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXM's global Product and Technology organization.
Job Description:
As a member of the Innovation Center at Pandora/SiriusXM you will be joining a team of Test Engineers responsible for testing of SiriusXM software and products related, but not limited to in-vehicle infotainment systems and aftermarket SiriusXM products.
Responsibilities:
* Work with software engineers, program managers, requirements managers, and other product stakeholders to understand product features and the complete set of requirements to the software.
* Assist in the development manual and automated test cases.
* Work closely with development teams to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed.
* Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, ensuring the quality and stability of the system throughout the project.
* Generate testing completion metrics and analysis, as well as status read-outs to upper management.
* Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test methodologies that ensure exhaustive testing of all assigned software systems to ensure compliance with software/system specifications.
* Anticipate potential software problems by creating test scenarios.
Requirements:
* BS Engineering or SW Engineering, Computer Science, computer Engineering or equivalent experience required. MS Engineering is desired.
* At least 5 years of experience in software testing
* Experience in Android application testing on hardware.
* Experience in testing of HMI of infotainment systems.
* Application of software development life cycle concept.
* Experience in software development and test automation is a plus.
* Knowledge of Ruby or Python.
* Experience with Git.
* Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong testing acumen as well as the technical know-how to automate the work.
