The Application Support team provides technical application support and IT Service Management for a range of An Post applications, services and databases running on platforms across on-premise, co-located data centres and cloud.
We are seeking a Team Lead to lead and work with a dynamic support team responsible for maintaining and enhancing our database estate. Reporting to the Application Support Manager, this position has responsibility for the maintenance and development of An Post’s database estate and associated technologies. Examples of services include Agency Banking, DSP Payments, State Savings, Mails Customs and 'Click and Post' returns services.
The ideal candidate will provide technical and team leadership, drive service improvements and maintain high levels of availability, security and performance. They will also manage a pipeline of project-related DBA activities.
The successful candidate may be required to go on-call or perform out of hours work as appropriate.
