Job Title: Procurement Category Manager - MRO/Spare Parts
Location: South Dublin (Hybrid)
Overview:
A leading multinational organisation is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to manage the MRO/Spare Parts category across Europe and Africa. Reporting to the Senior Global Category Manager, this role will focus on delivering strategic project procurement for spare parts and related categories.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for the MRO/Spare Parts category.
2. Lead supplier negotiations, ensuring cost optimisation and supplier performance.
3. Collaborate with engineering teams to align procurement efforts with business objectives.
4. Manage supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance against KPIs.
5. Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
6. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards across regions.
7. Travel across Europe (25% travel) to support procurement activities and build supplier relationships.
Key Requirements:
8. 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on engineering or spare parts spend.
9. Strong understanding of MRO and spare parts markets and suppliers.
10. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
11. Valid working visa for Ireland and unrestricted travel across Europe.
12. Full driver's licence.
13. Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
