Green and Baker Food Village is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the development of their new menu and food delivery business.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a similar type bar/restaurant business in Ireland, with excellent English language skills and HACCP certification
* Fully flexible full-time availability
* Valid work permit required for employment in Ireland

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook exceptional dishes, maintaining consistency and excellence
* Ensure kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
* Assist with ordering, stock control, and minimizing waste
* Contribute to a positive and motivating work environment
* Create a delivery menu aligned with management's vision
Health and Safety Compliance:
* Food Safety: Adhere to proper hygiene practices, including safe handling and storage of raw and cooked food
* Temperature Control: Ensure meats and other proteins are cooked to safe internal temperatures and maintain proper temperature zones
* Cleanliness: Regularly clean and sanitize kitchen stations and tools to meet health and safety standards
Inventory and Supply Management:
* Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate ingredients and supplies for each shift
* Receiving Deliveries: Inspect the quality and freshness of ingredients, particularly meats and seafood, and store them properly
Collaboration and Communication:
* Team Coordination: Work collaboratively with management and floor staff in a positive manner
Menu Development:
* Contributing to Specials: Assist in creating dishes that showcase Irish heritage and trends
* Experimentation: Test new techniques, methods, and ingredients to enhance menu offerings
Managing the Section:
* Training: Train kitchen porters and hot counter staff to meet the restaurant's standards
* Quality Control: Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the restaurant's standards for taste, presentation, and portion size
