At {company}, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Manager to lead testing efforts within our financial services clients payments domain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Test Strategy Development: Design and implement test strategies tailored to payments systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Leadership and Coordination: Manage a team of testers, providing guidance, support, and oversight across test phases (functional, non-functional, regression, and integration testing).
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with project managers, developers, and business analysts to align testing with project requirements and deadlines.
* Defect Management: Oversee defect tracking, resolution, and reporting, working closely with development teams to ensure timely fixes.
* Payments Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of BACS, SWIFT, or SEPA to identify potential issues in transaction flows, security protocols, and compliance.
* Automation and Tools: Promote and implement automation tools to optimize testing efficiency, where applicable, while ensuring quality.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in test management within financial services, with a focus on payments.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies, particularly within a payments processing environment.
* Industry Knowledge: Proven expertise in one or more payments standards (BACS, SWIFT, SEPA).
* Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage stakeholders across levels.
Qualifications:
* Relevant certification in testing (e.g., ISTQB) preferred.
