Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our Global team in Tralee, Ireland. The successful candidate will be part of the IAM Security Analyst Team and report directly to the Team Lead.
The primary role of the Information Security Analyst is to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information by enforcing robust security controls on company assets.
This involves working as part of a collaborative team within a Multinational Financial Services Company. Current support hours are from 7am to 10pm Monday to Friday, with a shift rotation basis that changes weekly. Occasional Saturday work may be required approximately five times per year.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent observation skills, telephone skills, and communication abilities (both verbal and written). They should be able to take direction as part of a team and demonstrate confidence in applying themselves individually.
A process-oriented mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to liaise with all levels across the company are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reset user passwords in applications
* Create and delete user accounts on systems and applications
* Monitor banking systems and report any exceptions
* Support the intake process for security access requests
* Manage escalated tickets from the helpdesk
* Collaborate with development teams to implement and test security controls
* Prepare and update Information Security administrative documentation
* Modify groups and access in Active Directory when required
* Support Application teams with projects, queries, and issues
* Provide audit reports and documentation to the risk and governance team
* Enforce Information Security policy guidelines and procedures
* Contribute to process improvement ideas and assist with automation efforts

* Able to quickly grasp new concepts and efficiently learn
* Highly self-motivated and able to work independently or under direction
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
* Experience working in a team-oriented environment
* Familiarity with multiple systems and experience in a fast-paced environment
* Strong written and oral communication skills, including technical documentation expertise
* Customer service orientation and good interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
