Job Description:
Client Planning
1. Attend client briefing meetings and distil from the briefing sessions the client challenges and the role for dentsu services to deliver these challenges.
2. Construct overall media strategy in answer to the client brief (getting support from Business Director and Strategy team if required).
3. Translate client brief into detailed internal brief (using CCS Planner) which is used to brief all DAN specialist areas: AV, Offline, Display, Paid Social, PPC, Partnerships.
4. Be the main contact with specialists as they ask questions around the brief.
5. Collate the specialist media plans into an overall composite plan with accompanying rationale (client presentation if relevant). Liaise with all specialists to ensure all media plans are accurate.
6. Oversee any changes of strategy and media plan between client and specialists.
7. Owner of client composite plan encompassing all relevant activity for a client (multiple brands etc).
Client Management
1. Be the main point of contact for clients and can understand client requirements, assess if it is within scope (liaising with BD if required), and decide the most effective way to answer the question.
2. Be able to answer client questions on all specialist areas (PPC, Display, Social, AV, Partnerships) and only involve specialists with clients when there is a real need to do so.
3. Manage PCA process – delivering a PCA to the client, working with your direct team (AM, AE) and all specialists.
4. Deliver strategic review of competitive activity, QBR presentations.
Team
1. Ensuring that teams are skilled up and resourced appropriately and supporting with up-skilling as required.
2. Ownership of delivery of Performance Development Reviews including development plans for direct reports; proactive identification and management of performance issues.
Operational Finance
1. Responsible for accurate and timely invoicing to our clients.
2. Responsibility for working with AMs and specialists to ensure media plans match MX and invoices are accurate.
3. Delivering effective budget control for clients.

5. Strong planning experience.
