The Quality Controller will be responsible for the implementation of Callan Bacon Quality Management System on the production floor, working with Production staff to ensure that product quality standards are maintained at all times.
Perform inspections on product and packaging from the Production line, identify defects in the process and correct them.
Organizes inspections according to internal and legal standards. Ensure the quality of the product for the consumer.
Support all areas of the Technical Department work.

Key Accountabilities
1. Conduct tests on the line and alert Production and QA of any problems and deliver resolutions.
2. Inspect product and packaging to ensure consistency and integrity.
3. Complete and maintain proper paperwork.
4. Ensure compliance with any and all standards, internal policies and legal regulations that apply to the finished product.
Skills and Experience Required
1. Third level qualification in Food Science, Agricultural Science, Applied Biology or similar.
2. Experience of working as a QC in a regulated food business.
