The Role:
* Maintain and optimise the condition and performance of automation cells, robotics, and vision inspection systems.
* Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment, ensuring timely fault diagnosis and repairs.
* Perform preventive and reactive maintenance, documenting all activities.
* Lead initiatives to optimise machine cycle times and other process improvements.
* Participate in the development and commissioning of automated equipment.
* Manage adequate stock levels of spare parts.
The Person:
* Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation).
* Proven experience working with robots and machine vision inspection systems.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in MS Office and other computer systems.
* Experience commissioning and optimising new equipment.
