As an integral member of this team, they will engage with various departments, including Technology, Project Management, and Project Engineering, on a daily basis.The role of an Inspection Engineer is multifaceted and includes, but is not limited to:Providing manufacturing / technical assistance and leadership to assigned groups.Maintaining production schedule requirements and interface with internal and external customers.Supporting function for flow value stream team & supply chain team including off-site teams.Supporting function for project management including customer or third part inspections.Continuous support of the planning function ensuring efficiency in the overlap between supervisors, planners, engineering and project management.Ensuring readiness for inspections supporting tight schedules. Proactive approach key to success in customer inspections.Supporting in documentation closure, reviewing MRB’s with customer/third party inspections.Playing a key role with liaising with our customer/TPI’s and using expertise to understand/action in recommending changes if required.Involved with relevant stakeholders in closure of NCMR’s (punch lists) with project managers.Proactive approach to problem solving.Valuing people's health and safety in the workplace and continue in keeping strong HSE safe practices at work with the help of every employee.Ensuring commitment and compliance with Baker Hughes Quality policy & procedures with strong focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.Fuel your passion!To be successful in this role you will:Having a degree or recognized certificate in the field of Mechanics, Engineering or Manufacturing.Having Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in industry as a Inspection/Manfacturing Engineer.Be an effective communicator and intermediary across project managers, project engineers, customer, manufacturing and sales.Be health and safety minded; quality focused with a very high attention to detail.Have the ability to work effectively on a team.Have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Have the ability to work within aggressive deadlines.
