EHS Manager Our client, a leading manufacturing company known for its high-quality products and commitment to sustainability are looking to recruit an EHS Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. The Successful Candidate: A third-level qualification in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) is essential. A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role is preferred. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in regulated environments. Excellent organizational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in engaging others and implementing new processes and procedures. Advanced skills in MS Office and ERP systems. Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to achieving goals. Certification in Manual Handling training is advantageous. Key Duties Foster a safety-first culture across both sites, ensuring alignment with quality, environmental, health, and safety policies, guidelines, and procedures. Ensure that safety processes and procedures are established, adhered to, and enhanced as needed. Oversee the accurate generation and storage of all required EHS records. Identify and assess risk areas and develop strategies to mitigate and control them. Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring that corrective actions are tracked to completion. Provide expert advice and support on EHS matters to colleagues. Conduct regular safety inspections, walks, and audits to ensure compliance with site procedures and legal standards. Manage internal and customer audits across all sites, including management reviews. Oversee the internal activities program, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are documented and communicated to relevant departments. Assist in investigating quality issues, identifying root causes, and developing cost-effective corrective and preventive actions to maintain the integrity of the companys quality management. Maintain accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis to support EHS initiatives. Collaborate with the management team to drive safety and quality improvements using continuous improvement methodologies. Deliver EHS-related training to new hires and existing staff. Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as required.
