ByrneWallace LLP is one of Ireland’s largest full service law firms. We are a forward thinking law firm and are currently recruiting for a Paralegal to join our firm. This role will involve supporting solicitors across a range of practice areas, depending on departmental needs. The nature of such work will vary depending on the practice area and is suited to a dynamic individual who is seeking to work cross-departmentally.
Responsibilities
1. Taking instructions from solicitors.
2. Liaising with the client’s or 3rd party Solicitors in relation to queries.
3. Attending court as required.
4. Carrying out legal research on cases as assigned.
5. Assisting in the preparation and collation of briefs.
6. Liaising with clients as required by the supervising Solicitor.
7. Providing support for all administration tasks as required, including photocopying, filing of documents, and dictations.
8. General handling of files post completion.
9. Releasing title documents and scheduling title documents.
The Person
1. Diploma in Legal Studies / A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a legal environment or experience in a busy office environment.
2. An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
3. A proactive individual who takes pride in their work.
4. Excellent attention to detail.
5. Ability to deliver high quality work in an efficient manner.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient in MS Office suite.
8. A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one’s own initiative.
