My client, part of a larger Group SME, has a requirement for an accountant who is qualified by experience or a Senior Book-Keeper. This person must have the confidence and ability to work in a stand-alone role and be involved in all accounts preparation, management accounting, and day-to-day finance duties for this subsidiary.

About Your New Job
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
* Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
* Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing & collections.
* Process supplier invoices and approve for payment.
* Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, RCT).
* Stock procurement, control, and reporting.
* Liaise with group accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
* Perform other ad hoc duties as required, including finance administration.
* Build strong relationships with all parties to work together as a team.
What skills you need
* Accountant or Senior Book-Keeper that is qualified by experience.
* Confidence and ability to work in a stand-alone finance role.
* Full knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary, with intermediate Excel knowledge a necessity.
* Experience in Sage 50 is essential.
