Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Event Producer for a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start. This hands-on role requires an individual with a proven track record of delivering high-quality live and online events, from concept to post-event evaluation, with a strong focus on client satisfaction, budget management, and innovative event solutions. The Senior Event Producer will work closely with the department Director and Production Director, taking ownership of large-scale event projects, ensuring excellence in delivery across all aspects of event production.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Production Management
o Manage all aspects of event production, from concept to showrunning and wrap-up, ensuring events are delivered on time, on budget, and exceed client expectations.
o Take full ownership of the event budget, ensuring consistent delivery.
o Develop comprehensive event plans and scopes of work (SOW), including site plans, AV requirements, health & safety protocols, especially for complex setups and greenfield sites.
2. Creative Development & Client Engagement
o Participate in creative brainstorms to generate innovative ideas for client events, continuously exploring progressive production methods and solutions.
o Build and maintain strong client relationships through open communication and responsive service.
o Use post-event evaluations and client feedback to refine processes, enhancing satisfaction and future event experiences.
3. Team Leadership & Third-Party Coordination
o Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and third-party partners, ensuring smooth collaboration and resource alignment across all stages of the event.
o Lead the event team from inception to completion, providing mentorship and knowledge sharing with junior team members.
o Develop and manage project budgets for events with a minimum value of €100k+, ensuring consistent delivery of targeted profit margins.
o Ensure operational systems and procedures are adhered to, supporting efficiency and consistency across the production process.
4. Innovative Execution & Industry Leadership
o Stay updated on industry trends, exploring new event solutions and technologies to bring dynamic experiences to life.
o Lead by example, fostering a culture of creative exploration and a forward-thinking approach to event production.
o Consistently implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of execution that represent the client’s brand at every event.
Experience/Requirements
1. Experience: 8+ years in event production, preferably within an event agency setting, with at least 2 years in a previous senior role.
2. Proven Success: Experience as a project lead on large-scale live and online events with budgets over €100k.
3. Event Expertise: Demonstrated experience with employee experience or brand activations, corporate events, festivals, sporting events, conferences, and virtual events.
4. Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of production, including greenfield site planning, power and cabling requirements, health and safety, site recce, AV requirements, and the ability to develop SOWs independently.
5. Client Relationship Management: Proven success in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
6. Multitasking Ability: Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
7. Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and preferably access to a car for on-site event management.
8. Creative Passion: A strong enthusiasm for innovative, experience-driven event solutions.
9. Good Judgment: Consistently demonstrates sound judgment in decision-making.
10. Collaboration: Effectively collaborates across various disciplines, contributing to a culture of teamwork.
11. Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic environment and handles multiple tasks with composure.
12. Organization & Attention to Detail: Exceptionally organized with attention to detail, ensuring quality in all projects.
