Job Description
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineering Utilities Technician.
The Senior Engineering Utilities Technician will work across the site supporting Engineering activities which include execution of predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the site operations are safe and reliable. The role supports any project activities, installation of equipment and start up. As part of a sustaining site this role ensures operations, maintenance and availability of equipment.
What you will do:
* Participate in project activities which could include design reviews, factory / Site acceptance testing, installation, and commissioning support.
* Ensure that equipment failures or issues are responded to promptly and appropriately in a cross functional environment. Providing guidance and solutions for preventative action where required.
* Identify activities and spare parts for planned activities including the development of procedures and training material.
* Alarm monitoring, response, and resolution.
* Execute planned routines including predictive and preventative activities.
* Ensure all necessary documentation is completed in a compliant manner and asset management data is captured accurately.
* Provide clear and concise written and verbal handovers to colleagues.
* Support and manage vendors when on site.
* Support development of training information, cross train colleagues.
* Assist colleagues and other functions with tasks – i.e. set-up, sampling, cleaning validation activities.
* Work in cross functional teams where Operational Excellence techniques are used to optimize processes.
* Ensure the site is audit ready at all times, house-keeping standards are always adhered to, training completed on time.
* Adhere to safety and environmental procedures and processes – escalate as required to ensure resolution.
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
* At minimum Level 6 Electrical qualification or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience working in biologics / pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in an engineering, maintenance or utilities role.
* A compliance mindset for Safety and Quality standards, regulation and practices.
* Expertise high level of attention to detail in following procedures.
* Strong problem-solving ability and adhere to scheduled timelines.
* Evidence of multi-skill experience and work in an automated environment.
