Business Development Representative
As a Business Development Representative, your primary role is to identify and engage companies that are potential fits for HubSpot's solutions. To achieve this, you will leverage our existing leads and generate new interest through strategic prospecting using calls, emails, and social media messaging.
When connecting with a prospect, you will gain an understanding of their business challenges to determine whether HubSpot can provide a suitable solution. Your goal is to effectively communicate the value of our platform and pique the interest of a prospect in having a more in-depth conversation with an Account Executive.
You will have a collaborative working relationship with 2-3 Account Executives. Each day, you will work closely with these colleagues and your fellow Business Development Representatives to develop innovative strategies for uncovering new opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct high-volume prospecting for qualified leads (new users and potential customers)
* Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and implement effective prospect strategies and plans
* Schedule online product demonstrations for qualified leads while meeting monthly targets
* Understand customers' needs and challenges using sales methodologies such as BANT
* Conduct market research to expand HubSpot's customer base
Key Requirements:
* A strong desire to pursue a career in Tech Sales
* Previous sales/prospecting experience and a background in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus
* Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch or other European languages is also an asset
* A sharp focus on goals and a proven ability to achieve them
* The capacity to address objections and handle feedback constructively
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* A genuine passion for helping businesses grow and a curiosity about the tech industry
