Job Description
Bausch + Lomb, a leading global eye health business, is dedicated to enhancing people's lives through innovative eye care solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement process improvements and equipment upgrades with minimal disruption to production.
* Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to provide daily support.
* Implement process improvements and upgrades under strict change control protocols.
* Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools and data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
* Acquire in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing process and share technical expertise with colleagues.
* Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to ensure seamless operations.
* Develop training programs for maintenance personnel to ensure they possess the necessary knowledge to perform their tasks effectively.
* Create documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment and process systems as required.
* Present technical data to internal and external audit and inspection groups as needed.
* Potentially lead direct reports and serve as a technical leader within the Manufacturing group.
Requirements:
* Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify facts, consider alternative approaches, and evaluate the most effective course of action.
* Preferably, medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry experience, as well as a background working in a validated environment with strong discipline regarding change control.
Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum depending on experience.
