Job Description: Installation Technician - Field Based Midlands
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installation Technician to join our team. This full-time role involves attending customer sites for sign installation and maintenance work, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with safety regulations. This role will primarily cover the Midlands to West region but may be required to travel nationwide when needed. A company van is provided.
Job Responsibilities:
* Attend customer sites for allocated sign installation and maintenance work.
* Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.
* Conduct routine maintenance and repair work as required.
* Complete all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
* Work collaboratively with team members and liaise professionally with clients.
* Adhere to company policies and health & safety procedures at all times.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition.
* Ensure site cleanliness and proper disposal of materials post-installation.
* Occasionally undertake overnight stays when required for work assignments.
* Assist in training and mentoring junior team members as needed.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
* Full driver’s license required.
* Willingness to travel across the country and stay overnight when necessary.
* Positive, can-do attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Good time management and ability to work independently.
* Current Safe Pass & Manual Handling certification is desirable (training can be provided if needed).
* Additional relevant certifications are advantageous.
* Understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance in the industry.
