Job Title: Agri Engineering Graduate
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Agri Engineering Graduate to join our team in North Tipperary. As an Agri Graduate Engineer, you will work closely with our dynamic engineering team to prepare production drawings, streamline workflows, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate existing manufacturing workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Prioritise improvement projects based on benefit-cost ratios.
* Implement best practices on the production floor to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
* Provide technical support to production departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and oversee material movement.
* Address and resolve production issues to minimise delays.
* Develop ergonomic processes aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S.
* Prepare and maintain design and working drawings for fabrication.
* Use 2D and 3D drafting software to create accurate production drawings.
* Liaise with the design team to resolve drawing, detailing, and measurement issues.
Requirements:
* A minimum of a Level 8 qualification in a relevant agri/engineering field.
* A strong appreciation and understanding of agricultural machinery.
* Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
* Excellent problem-solving skills to address production and design challenges effectively.
* Proficiency in engineering software, web-based applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and 3D design tools for design and documentation purposes.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and R&D.
