We are seeking a Facilities Manager to work within our Premises & Facilities Department with responsibility for assisting in the delivery of our hard and soft services.
You will work alongside the Facilities Maintenance and Reprographics Managers, overseeing all aspects of building operations.
You will report directly to the Chief Projects Officer, Premises & Facilities Department.
Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a range of contractors across our Premises & Facilities Department.Management of hard and soft services helpdesk requests with a hands-on approach ensuring all tasks are addressed and actioned promptly.Assisting in the management of SLAs and KPIs across our outsourced services, ensuring good contract management practices.Supporting Health and Safety and Risk Assessments in reviewing planned works and on-site processes and procedures.Management of planned and reactive maintenance and specialist contractors.Being part of our Energy Management Team and supporting energy and environmental initiatives.Managing and co-ordinating office reconfigurations and departmental moves.Manage building and system emergencies as they arise and responding to out of hours calls when necessary.People management across the internal P&F teams.Skills Knowledge and ExpertiseEssential: A mechanical, electrical, building services engineering or equivalent qualification.Experience in the management and co-ordination of hard and soft services delivery in a busy corporate environment.Experience in refurbishment and relocation projects.You are an experienced vendor manager, someone who can build effective relationships and have previously been involved in tendering for hard services.Experience planning and maintaining facility budgets.Excellent stakeholder management experience.Desirable: Knowledge of HVAC, Building Management Systems and other building systems.Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment – natural sense of urgency.You are highly client-focused with a 'can-do' attitude.You can deal with a range of competing priorities and have good stakeholder management skills.You take a hands-on approach and work alongside your team.Working ArrangementsThe role is based in our Dublin office.
Due to the nature of the role, attendance at the office will be five days per week.
