Job Description
The Agency, on behalf of a public sector organisation, requires a Data Quality Administrator for a 12-month duration with the possibility of extension thereafter. The role involves working 35 hours per week as an agency employee with an annualised salary of €34,256 and accruals of 28 days' annual leave per annum.
The position is based in Drogheda, Co Louth, with a blended working model consisting of a minimum of 4 days per week in Drogheda (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and one other day of choice) and 1 day working from home. Following successful onboarding, this can be extended to a minimum of 2 days on-site and 3 days home working.
This role requires an individual with an interest in data management, which may suit a graduate or someone working in a similar environment. It involves managing and analysing large datasets and sources to support strategic decision-making, requiring a solid understanding of business principles and a meticulous approach to data accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure efficient day-to-day administration of the area of responsibility.
* Manage service mailboxes on an ongoing basis.
* Provide support to the HIDS Data Quality Manager/Lead with strategic planning through comprehensive analysis of data sets and sources.
* DQA's will have projects identified by their line manager, with a PID formalised to confirm project scope and stakeholders.
* Support the HIDS Data Team Manager/Leads with data and statistical analysis and reporting tools, contributing to regular reporting to Senior Management.

Qualifications and Experience:

The minimum qualification includes:
* Obtaining a pass (Grade D) in at least five subjects from the approved list of subjects in the Department of Education Leaving Certificate Examination, including Mathematics and English or Irish.
* Completing a relevant examination at a comparable standard in any equivalent examination in another jurisdiction.
* Holding a comparable and relevant third-level qualification of at least level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland (QQI).
Candidates must achieve a pass in Ordinary or Higher-level papers, possess the requisite knowledge and ability, and demonstrate a high standard of suitability for the proper discharge of the office.
Desirable qualifications include experience of working with data or in a similar business environment, proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, excellent IT and Excel skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
