We are hiring an experienced and motivated Accommodation Supervisor for our client in Co. Kilkenny. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a keen eye for detail and leadership skills to oversee the housekeeping team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team
* Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
* Train and support accommodation assistants to achieve high levels of performance
* Schedule and allocate tasks to staff to ensure efficiency and productivity
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and hygiene standards
* Liaise with the front office and maintenance teams regarding room status and issues
* Handle guest requests or complaints related to accommodation services professionally
* Monitor inventory levels of linen, cleaning supplies, and amenities
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
* High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
* Good knowledge of health & safety and housekeeping procedures
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Location: Co. Kilkenny
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
