The ideal candidate will need to have in depth knowledge of OTC derivatives and strong client relationship skills. The primary focus of the role will be middle office OTC servicing. You must be able to collaborate effectively with global teams within the Derivatives COE. This client has a global mandate and requires an EMEA presence to support in-region operational delivery. In addition, the successful candidate will be a key contact for the client for in-region operational and project support. Internally, you will also liaise with many teams across Global Delivery and IMS. You must also be able to design and/or contribute to client focused initiatives including technology and process improvement. The OTC Middle office team in the DCOE deliver a wide range of services to clients. These involve transaction management and end-to-end trade lifecycle support, including trade capture, confirmation, notification, settlement, corporate action processing, credit event monitoring, reporting, documentation management and exception management. Middle Office teams interact with many operational groups both within State Street and externally with clients, counterparties and industry vendors.

What you will be responsible for
As Officer you will
1. Collaborate with operational teams globally to ensure consistent service delivery of client solutions and client satisfaction
2. Provide comprehensive in-region client support for OTC middle office servicing, building strong relationships with client contacts, counterparties and vendors.
3. Key in-region escalation point for the client on OTC middle office
4. Assess operational effectiveness and implement plans to ensure optimal service environment and technology usage
5. Work with risk management & business control groups to identify and proactively resolve recurring client issues
6. Review and collaborate with operation teams to manage operational risk
7. Act in accordance with Risk Excellence and model ethical behaviour and decision making
8. Other duties as assigned
