We are currently recruiting for Events staff/ general operative
***Full-time positions available***
**Tuesday to Sunday in rota**
Shifts between 8:00 and 22:00
Location: Douglas Street, Cork City Centre!
Purpose of the Role
To undertake daily cleaning of the building in line with Health & Safety Standards. You will work within a team to ensure that the events are assisted accordingly and the building is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.
Job Description
* Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells, toilets etc
* To greet and welcome visitors, being prompt, polite, and helpful to them.
* Teamwork- work closely with the entire team
* Prepare the rooms for the scheduled events,
* Be ready to prepare and serve teas and coffees when requested by manager
* Sweeping, hoovering, moping and waste disposal
* Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
* Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
* Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required
* Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators
* Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes
* Undertake any other duties as requested
Requirements:
* A can-do attitude
* Experience in a similar role
* Good working knowledge of English
* Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
* Garda vetting required
