Your new role
This job involves managing the HR documentation, contracts, and policies of the company. The role also includes advising management on personnel issues, managing grievance and disciplinary investigations, and facilitating recruitment processes. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the HR system and ensuring all employee information is up to date. They will also work closely with management to develop, implement, and update processes and procedures. Additionally, the role involves drafting monthly HR reports for management, providing weekly payroll imports, and devising an employee training and development plan. Finally, the candidate will work with the production and training managers to facilitate weekly and monthly health and safety meetings and associated reports.
What you'll need to succeed
The job requires at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and a third level qualification is essential. CIPD membership is desirable but not required. The candidate should have strong administration skills, attention to detail, and computer skills (Word, Excel, HR systems). Maintaining confidentiality is crucial, and the candidate should have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with all levels within the company. Good written and verbal communication skills are required, and the candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
