About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Blanchardstown. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, assisting with month-end and year-end processes, and supporting the financial reporting and analysis requirements of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements
* Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
* VAT and payroll submissions in compliance with Revenue requirements
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Liaise with external auditors and support the audit process
* Support with internal financial controls and compliance procedures
* Manage accounts payable and receivable as required
* Ad hoc financial reporting and support to senior management
* Manage bank accounts and communication
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent)
* Minimum 2+ years relevant experience in a similar accounting role
* Strong understanding of Irish tax regulations, including VAT and payroll
* Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (SAGE Intacct)
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Prior experience in audit or practice background is an advantage
