Job Description:
Egis Ireland is seeking Geotechnical Design Engineers at all levels to join our growing team. You will be involved in delivering high-quality geotechnical solutions across a range of infrastructure projects, including transport, energy, and environmental developments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct geotechnical analysis and design for roads, rail, bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure projects.
* Perform ground investigations, site assessments, and soil-structure interaction studies.
* Develop geotechnical reports, risk assessments, and foundation design solutions.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
* Use geotechnical software (e.g., Plaxis, Slope/W, GeoStudio) to support design work.
* Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and safety regulations.
* Senior Engineers will lead projects, mentor junior staff, and provide technical expertise.
Qualifications Requirements:
* Junior Level: 0–3 years of experience with a degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
* Intermediate Level: 3–7 years of experience with strong design and analysis skills.
* Senior Level: 7+ years of experience, with leadership and project management abilities.
* Proficiency in geotechnical design software and knowledge of Eurocodes.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Chartered status (or working towards it) is desirable for Intermediate/Senior roles.
