Social network you want to login/join with:Technical Product Innovation Manager, DungarvanClient: HaleonLocation: DungarvanJob Category: OtherEU work permit required: YesJob Reference: 909bed502feaJob Views: 69Posted: 22.01.2025Job Description:The core activity in terms of new business introduction involves engaging with Category to identify new business opportunities, supporting a Make v Buy proposal for the selected products, completing a detailed cost benefit analysis via a site impact assessment (SIA) and coordinating the implementation of the launch in the event the site being successful in their bid.Key Responsibilities:Lead the New Product Introduction Programme for the site and ensure all new processes are introduced in line with DFM & PUCC principles and ensure a Site Impact Assessment (SIA) is completed for all NPIs with input from all the key SMEs and stakeholders.Engage with various stakeholders on & above site to ensure a clearly defined brief is matched with an accurate estimate of cost, time, and resource for implementation.Lead the prioritisation and selection of projects to be implemented and capture resource requirements, milestones, and savings via SLT endorsed SIA. Manage key internal & external stakeholders including Category Supply Chain, Manufacturing Strategy, and Portfolio Optimisation. Project manage a cross-functional team to execute approved projects and capture benefits.Ensure Technical Risk Assessments (TRA) are implemented in conjunction with R&D before NPIs are transferred to the site and ensure a Product Control Strategy is in place for all NPIs before the product is transferred to the site.Support Value Engineering and Procurement initiatives as part of each NPI introduction.Identify training needs of Technical NPI and ensure training plans are put in place to address these needs and ensure development plans are in place for key team members.Feed into the Process Prioritization listing to ensure all functions have appropriate visibility of timelines NPI activities from both an operational capacity requirements / support resource requirements (QC/Reg/etc).Lead site monthly Technical Review meeting and weekly Technical NPI Team Meetings.Ensure Halal requirements are met in accordance with General Guidelines of Halal Assurance System LPPOM MUI for applicable Medical Device products/markets.Perform duties in a compliant manner and behave in accordance with site SOPs, Haleon EHS standards and guidelines and relevant legal requirements.Ensure our workplace is safe and free of harassment and bullying, promoting only desirable activities and behaviours and always act legally and fairly within the spirit of all laws and regulations.Essential Qualifications & Skills we are looking for:Have attained a third level qualification in engineering/science discipline.Working knowledge of Process Validation Requirements for new product introduction and process optimisation changes.HR Systems and People Management.Care to join us?
