We are recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic Reservations Agent to join our Reservation Team at our award-winning hotel.

Key responsibilities of the Reservations Agent will include:
1. Handle guest enquiries relating to reservations and sales in a competent and efficient manner.
2. Describe accurately all the bedrooms, services, and facilities in the hotel, and be fully familiar with all room rates available as well as rates of all services/facilities that can be offered.
3. Respond to all guests/prospective guests enquiries in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring that they are treated with courtesy and professionalism at all times, using guest names.
4. Be familiar with travel agents and company co-ordinators who might place business with us.
5. Proactively sell bedrooms at the best rate possible, ensuring that all opportunities to achieve secondary sales (e.g., upgrades, dinner, activities) are maximized.
6. Answer the switchboard, directing calls appropriately and dealing with any queries that may arise.
7. Handle all guest enquiries.
The ideal candidate for the Reservations Agent position should:
1. Have hotel reservations experience.
2. Be a good planner and self-starter.
3. Be enthusiastic, revenue driven with high attention to detail.
4. Have a good understanding of the reservations process.
5. Have the ability to maintain relationships with both internal and external clients.
6. Be efficient and have professional communication skills.
