Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship - Renewables
Base Location: Richfield Wind Farm (County Wexford), Meentycat Hub (County Donegal)
Salary: circa €20,309 (aligned to National Wage Requirements) plus a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing, and family.
Working Pattern: Full Time | 3 Years Apprentice Programme

About the Role
1. 3-Year Programme - A combination of on-the-job training at one of our Wind Farms and off-the-job training at Kerry College, Tralee, County Kerry.
2. Industry-Leading Training - Learn practical maintenance skills, develop technical expertise, and apply your knowledge in real-world settings.
3. Recognised Qualification - On successful completion, you'll receive an Advanced Certificate in Industrial Wind Turbine Engineering, preparing you for a career as a Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician with salaries starting from circa €36,000.

To be eligible, you must meet the following entry requirements:
1. Be at least 18 years of age at time of applying.
2. QQI Level 4 Major Award (or equivalent), or at least 3 years of trade-related experience.
3. Pass grade in Maths at Level 3 (or equivalent).
4. B2 Level English Language Proficiency.
5. Valid Irish Driving Licence.
6. Excellent colour vision (essential for safety and electrical work).
7. Physically fit and able to work at heights of up to 100m.
8. Be able to pass a medical fitness assessment.
Non-Standard Entry: If you do not meet the formal education requirements, you may still be considered after a panel interview with the Programme Manager. Please be aware all other eligibility requirements are essential.
