Purpose of the Role:
The Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring all produce being delivered to the company and all produce being dispatched is in accordance with the customer specification.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
1. Goods in Plants Check & paperwork.
2. Plants Residency.
3. Specs for plants.
4. On the line checks- compliance & positive release.
5. Plant passport checks, Protected Zone checks for plants, DAFM High Risk Notification.
6. Daily line checks for hygiene, sharps, and communicate any issues at daily meetings.
7. Carry out Shelf life tests.
8. Conduct monthly traceability audits.
9. Assist team & act as cover for flower goods in checks, paperwork, label checks, line checks as required.
10. Conduct monthly traceability, GMP audits and other internal audits- Fabrication, glass & Perspex audits.
11. Assist team in liaising with suppliers and customers on quality issues.
12. Coordinate with other departments like commercial, production, sales, purchasing regarding quality issues.
13. Any other projects that may arise.

Education & Qualifications:
Must be a graduate.
