Job Title: Commercial Lead
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lead to join our client's team, a leading energy contractor with a global presence. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects in substation, power generation, and grid connection.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the commercial strategy and execution for projects from inception to completion.
* Manage the negotiation and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, and finance to drive project success.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard project profitability.
* Monitor project financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
* Proven track record of success in commercial leadership roles within the energy or construction industry.
* Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Salary: Competitive benefits package and salary, estimated at £60,000 - £80,000 per annum based on location and experience.
This role is available full-time, Monday to Thursday (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM) and Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
