Purchasing Analyst
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Analyst to join a high-performing and collaborative team in a leading biotech manufacturing environment. This role will support the Material Operations function and provide key administrative assistance to a team of Buyer/Planners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process purchase orders using procurement software based on internal requests
* Support supplier coordination and assist in forecasting and scheduling
* Liaise with internal teams to resolve order discrepancies and invoice issues
* Maintain and update procurement data and system attributes
* Prepare procurement reports and performance metrics
* Assist with stock and inventory analysis
* Organise team meetings and support general administrative tasks
Requirements:
* Experience in a procurement or purchasing support role
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
* Comfortable working with ERP systems; prior SAP or Ariba use is a plus
* Proficient in Excel; familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI is an advantage
* A flexible team player with a drive for process improvement and efficiency
