An experiencedElectrical Quantity Surveyor (QS) is required for a high-profileData Centre project in Ireland.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of electrical works, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates and budgets for electrical works within the data centre project.
Monitor and control project costs, ensuring financial efficiency.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiating best value deals.
Prepare and submit progress valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure commercial objectives are met.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for cost-related risks.
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records related to project expenditures.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry regulations.
Assist in procurement and contract administration, including reviewing terms and conditions.
Provide support in dispute resolution and claims management when required.
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in theelectrical sector.
Experience working ondata centre, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge ofMEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) contracts and cost management.
Proficiency in construction cost estimation software and financial reporting tools.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of Irish construction regulations, contract law, and industry standards.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
