Responsibilities:
1. Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure the team's success.
2. Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies, processes, and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
3. Testing Frameworks: Define and implement testing frameworks and methodologies to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
4. Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and oversee their execution to validate software functionality and performance.
5. Automation: Drive automation efforts to increase test coverage, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort through the implementation of automated testing tools and frameworks.
6. Bug Tracking and Reporting: Establish robust bug tracking and reporting processes to accurately identify, prioritize, and escalate issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
7. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the QA function, driving initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and team performance.
8. Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and innovative environment by working closely with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals and objectives.
Requirements:
9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10. Proven experience of at least 3 years in a QA leadership role, with a track record of successfully leading and managing QA teams.
11. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
12. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
15. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred.
16. ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
