We are recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to join a reputable contractor for an exciting site-based role in County Cavan.
This project involves the construction of 96 new residential units, comprising 10 two-bedroom maisonettes, 70 three-bedroom two-storey houses, and 16 four-bedroom houses, as well as a new crèche facility.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of industry experience, with a solid background in commercial or residential construction. This position offers the chance to work with a well-established company that boasts a strong pipeline of projects across the region.
Key responsibilities for this Site Engineer role:
* Management of day-to-day site quality assurance, including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks and approvals.
* Assisting the site management teams with all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management.
* Setting out - Transferring digital and paper data/drawings onto the site, and back into digital models enabling accurate and auditable record keeping. Preparing work schedules & allocating resources.
* You will interface and work with the project team on delivery, engage with the Client, and coordinate with the civil sub-contractor project management team on site from start-up through to handover.
Experience required for this Site Engineer role:
* 2+ years minimum experience in a similar role.
* Building industry technical and practical knowledge is crucial.
* Setting out experience, proficient with Total Stations + GPS.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Full driving license.
* Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
Salary for this Site Engineer role is between €50,000-65,000 DOE (Negotiable dependent upon experience), bonus scheme, car allowance, plus further additional benefits.
