Job Description
As a Project Manager in the Water Industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and environmental protection are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead project delivery teams including Site Management, Supervision staff, Procurement team, Commissioning team, and Design team.
* Maintain quality throughout project delivery, meeting business policy and exceeding client expectations.
* Develop and manage project scope, coordinating changes through contractual mechanisms.
* Oversee design, procurement, subcontract packages, commissioning, and handover processes.
* Maintain presence on site during construction, ensuring day-to-day operations align with programme and budget.
* Participate in Client meetings as lead representative of Glan Agua.
* Ensure procurement is progressed in line with project programme/schedule.
* Foster supply chain value through competitive tendering and continuous challenge.
* Monitor technical aspects of the project, ensuring project team has clear understanding of deliverables.
* Liaise and coordinate with project support staff, including SHEQ, Planning, and Commercial.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a Project Manager role in the Water Industry, preferably with a Tier 1 contractor. A mechanical or electrical based academic qualification, preferably degree level, is also required.
