Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services.
Grade IV, Phlebotomy Clinic Administrative Assistant
Permanent, Full Time (37.5hrs)
Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Cluain Mhuire Service are now inviting applications for the post of Grade IV, Phlebotomy Clinic Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.
Role Summary
The clinic assistants' duties and responsibilities include:
* Dealing with telephone queries
* Booking appointments
* Providing general administrative support to the clinic staff
* Liaising with staff in other departments, GPs, the public and outside agencies
* Typing and filing correspondence and documentation related to the clinic
* Undertaking venepuncture and labelling of blood samples
* Carrying out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Minimum Requirements
* Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
* Excellent time keeping ability, attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Organised, resourceful, proficient in time management
* Previous experience working within a Mental Health setting
Remuneration
Salary Grade 0558 Grade IV (Clerical) on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale
Initial location
The initial location of this role is Cluain Mhuire, Blackrock, Co Dublin. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
